My first concert was Joe Cocker & Leon Russell's Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour in '71!
100 freaks on stage at once! http://www.hostboard.com/forums/
That did something inside my head, me thinks....
Followed by Rare Earth & Edgar Winter's White Trash

*sigh*
You got me thinking about my musical roots so much that I just ordered Grand Funk's second "red" album and their "Live Album" from Tower. I felt so "In Need". http://www.hostboard.com/forums/

They came through town again last year, and I finally got Pappette hooked on 'em too! http://www.hostboard.com/forums/

my very first concert was Monsters of Rock. metallica was the opening act. dokken, scorpions...
I've seen RUSH a bunch of times in concert. they are one of the best bands ever live. I too still love their music. one of the only classic rock bands I care for.
just a few and I mean not even close to all the concerts I've been to in my years...

I saw them on their first US tour also. I was also really into surf music, cause I loved the guitar sound.

Gotta agree Chaser, I saw Rush twice and they were just fantastic. Geddy Lee has got to be the most ambidextrous player I've ever watched.
He was on the bass banging away, singing, hitting keys with his feet, playing keyboards, back to bass etc..etc.. I was just spellbound watching him work. http://www.hostboard.com/forums/
And after so many years, he still has perfect pitch too.
The guy doesn't miss a note.
